Same features that already exist on the previous Macbooks but now, it all runs a bit faster. Still, the tech will still grow and when that time comes, we think this new hardware will be enough to run all of it.

Gaming...on Mac?

We did mention an improved GPU and by that, we mean the M3 Macbook Air now supports hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing, which pretty much means better lighting, shadows, and reflections in video games. So yeah. Gaming should be much better here on the new Macbook Air.

Provided it’s a supported title of course. Fortunately, this list has been steadily growing, with critically-acclaimed titles like Lies of P, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and Baldur’s Gate 3 all running well on the Macbook Air.

It’s not yet a “gaming machine” of course, and to be fair, it still isn’t marketed as such. However, for those creatives who want to fire up a game or two once their workload is done, then the Macbook Air should be able to accommodate that need.
