Get Ready for Apple’s “Scary Fast” Halloween Event! 

Wow, Apple fans and enthusiasts must be eating well this month! A new “Scary Fast” event has been announced for October 31st, 8:00 AM here in the Philippines. Invites have already been sent out and people can tune in to the event over on Apple’s official site and Youtube channel.

While details regarding the event are still a bit sparse, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has teased the event will be a “Mac-centered” launch, featuring a refreshed iMac as well as new 14-inch and 16-inch Macbook Pros.

This news is partly based on the same report detailing how stocks of these product categories have started drying up, making this the perfect time to start releasing new models. Of course, a simple refresh isn’t all that’s coming up in this event.

M3: scary fast, scary good

According to most rumors, this event is the time for Apple to unveil their new “M3” chips, which were initially speculated to arrive at the end of this year. M3 is said to be based on TSMC’s new 3nm process, speculated to be a big leap over the previous 5nm process used for their previous M1 and M2 chips.

M3 is said to be a big leap forward for Apple in terms of CPU and GPU performance, similar to the performance gains they got when they switched from Intel to their own silicon during the M1 days.

Note that all of this is just based on rumors and Apple themselves have yet to say anything regarding the actual capabilities of their upcoming chipset and products. Still, we’re sure to find out some amazing reveals and updates this October 31.
