Google Pixel 10 Series Reportedly Launching on August 20!

Even more Android phones will be gracing our store soon!

The annual Made by Google event showcasing the latest of the brand’s Pixel devices has been moved up to August 20 this year! The event will take place at New York City for those attending in person. No date was given for a livestream or anything of that sort though.

Now all that’s left to do is to mark those calendars and to try and guess what kind of hardware we’ll be seeing in their new lineup. And some early leaks and rumors have already given us some very likely ideas:

Google Pixel 10 Lineup: Now with TSMC

For starters, we’re getting the same 4-device lineup as the previous year’s Pixel 9 devices. There’s the base Pixel 10, the Pixel 10 Pro, the much larger Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Initial reports also look promising, with some notable upgrades along the board.

Take the chipset. Reports say it’ll use a custom Tensor G5 chip but this time, manufactured by TSMC rather than Samsung, which would reportedly improve performance and efficiency. We’re definitely looking forward to seeing it perform in tasks like gaming, AI features, and other productivity tasks.

There’s a few odd omissions though. We may not see Wi-Fi 7 on the Pixel 10 lineup according to the rumors, which is weird seeing how the Pixel 9 does offer support for the standard. And while we’ll definitely get a telephoto lens in the Pro models, we might not be getting the brand’s ‘Ultra Res Zoom’ just yet.

In terms of hardware, there’s no concrete information as to the final dimensions and colors the phone will ship in. Early renders did point to the distinctive camera bar being retained for those who do like that iconic look.

Pixel Watch 4 and other Accessories

It’s not just the Pixel 10 that’s getting a new chipset. Leaks are also pointing to a new chip for the anticipated Pixel Watch 4, which will come in 41mm and 45mm sizes. Apart from that, details are still fairly sparse on what sets this new wearable apart from the Pixel Watch 3.

We might get new health and fitness tracking features, especially with Fitbit winding down. Initial renders also point to a thicker watch body which could be a sign that the battery's bigger.

And to go along with the Pixel "a" series of phones, Google may also introduce the Pixel Buds 2a; a more affordable version of their existing Pixel Buds lineup. And yes, this should include all of its other software features like noise cancellation as well.
