This time though, Kodak is looking to replicate this success with a little refresh of its diminutive little snapper.

After all, it’s not just the 80’s that people are feeling nostalgic for. If the bright colors and warm comfortable filters of last year didn’t have you chomping at the bit, then perhaps these shiny, metallic Millennium Edition Charmera will.
Yes, Kodak is overhauling their popular design in order to mirror the aesthetics of the early tech era. Back when tech first started to really excite all of us.
Like the original, this new Millennium Edition comes in seven designs, decked in shiny chrome finishes, and will even include a range of new filters and frames reminiscent of that era. Once again, they’ll all be in blind boxes; you won’t know what design you’ll get before you open it up.

How are the Specs?
Apart from the design though, its specs remain identical to last year’s model. You get 1.6MP shots at 1,440 x 1,080 resolution and videos at 30fps. AKA, your photos and videos will definitely look terrible once you blow it up to a bigger resolution.
But then again, participating in the technological arms race isn’t the point of the Kodak Charmera. This isn’t the one for taking the perfect, glossy shots under the best possible light. No, the Charmera is just here to preserve a moment in time, warts and all. Just like how we used to do so in the past.
