Nothing Phone (2) teased for a July 11 Global Reveal

Hey Android enthusiasts! The Nothing Phone (2) will officially be unveiled on July 11. We all remember how Nothing released their first phone back in 2021 to great public reception, thanks to its great midrange specs and unique design. Think we can expect more of the same for the Nothing Phone (2)? Let’s take a look at the myriad of spec leaks, hardware speculation, and details about the new device!

Nothing Phone (2)’s specs:

There’s been no shortage of official and unofficial leaks regarding the Nothing Phone (2)’s specs. According to CEO Carl Pei himself, this new phone will be coming with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

This should give the phone a big boost in performance compared to the Phone 1, which used a Snapdragon 778G; a mid-range chip. There’s also leaks about its battery being boosted from the Phone 1’s 4,500mAh to 4,700 or 5,000mAh but nothing that is 100% confirmed.

Likewise, the display is also said to get a significant boost, coming in with a 6.7” AMOLED display up from the original 6.55” of the Nothing Phone (1). As for the design though, no word’s out yet whether it’ll retain the impressive Glyphs and lights on the back of the phone.

Leaks also say that the camera should be the same as the original Nothing Phone; a 50 MP main shooter with OIS and no third camera module. However, there’s no official word on whether or not this is true just yet.

Nothing had also moved their OS development in-house, promising further improvements and optimization in Version 2 of their custom UI. The company will be starting with improved software support, promising up to 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches.

Memory is said to be in-line with most other flagship devices. The Phone (2) will supposedly come with 8 to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB/256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Can’t wait for the new model? You can still get the original Nothing Phone (1) at a more affordable price here!

Nothing Phone’s Price in the Philippines

Unfortunately, things are still silent regarding the new phone’s pricing. However, seeing as it’s due to come with improved specs and a tweaked design, we expect it to be much more expensive than its predecessor. In fact we expect it to rival some of the more premium offerings currently available on the market right now.

Make sure to stay tuned for any further news as well as detailed coverage on the phone once it releases, as well as whether or not it will be available in the Philippines.
