Very proud to have attended this event, meeting other brand ambassadors for the platform and representing the potential that gadget E-commerce brings to the industry.
Speaking as someone who’s been in this business for twenty years now, this event was a pleasant reminder of how far E-commerce has grown in the Philippines. More and more people are now comfortable shopping online, even for high-ticket items, and platforms like Lazada have helped unlock this pathway for people interested in building their own business and being their own boss.
More than that, I’m also happy to be an ambassador for a platform that also offers support for this industry through the various tools, programs, and incentives for their sellers to learn and connect with others. Entrepreneurship after all, is a lifelong journey of learning and we all could stand to refresh our minds with all the latest developments.
Yet despite all that, I found that certain mindsets with regards to entrepreneurship and business growth continues to hold true until today:
Growth is intentional. Systems drive scale. Execution is everything.
We can be given all the tools and support we need but in the end, it’s still up to us to actually take the plunge and work towards our business growth.
So here’s to building stronger brands, better customer experiences, and a more empowered E-commerce community in the Philippines. A rising tide lifts all ships and I hope this industry continues to be a pathway towards success for many years to come!
