With the premium Galaxy S26 flagships launched, we now turn our attention to what is arguably Samsung’s best-selling line: The Galaxy A-series phones. In a somewhat similar story to the flagships however, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of major changes to the upcoming Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37.
At least on the surface. Once again, you need to dig a little deeper underneath the glossy AMOLED to see which specs have been bumped up and which ones are staying the same. And there’s a number of them.
Chipset Upgrades for this Midrange Line!
Both the Samsung Galaxy A57 and the Galaxy A37 are now available for preorder here at Kimstore, along with some freebies which we’ll get to in a bit. For now, we’ll take a look at what’s been changed or upgraded with these phones.
As usual, the main upgrade for both phones this year is the chipset. For the Galaxy A37, we’re getting the Exynos 1480 rather than the Snapdragon 6 Gen3. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A57 will be getting the Exynos 1680; upgraded from the Exynos 1580. Both will be launching with One UI 8.5 and both will offer 6/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options, depending on territory.
Oh, both phones also feature similar 120Hz AMOLED displays, even coming in at the same 6.7-inches diagonally. No complaints here though; these displays are excellent for all of our media needs.
Samsung Galaxy A57 5G
Other than the chipset, the Galaxy A57 appears to offer very little in the way of tangible upgrades compared to the Galaxy A56. Same 5,000mAh battery and 45W wired charging. However, you do get better connectivity hardware under the hood as the phone has now been updated to Bluetooth 6.0 and WiFi 6E!

Samsung Galaxy A37 5G
For the cheaper Galaxy A37, we’re mostly looking at upgrades to the camera setup. The main wide shooter will stay at a 50MP (albeit with OIS), but the secondary ultrawide will be bumped up to 12MP, letting you capture more detail compared to the Galaxy A36. The macro and selfie cameras are staying the same though.
The Galaxy A37 will be launching in five different colors: Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Graygreen, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome White.
