Samsung Galaxy S24; Coming Soon to Kimstore!

Fresh from Galaxy Unpacked, Samsung’s latest Galaxy S24 lineup launched with plenty of upgrades across the board as well as a whole suite of AI features to really elevate that mobile experience. Let’s start with the little guy from the line. Well, little may be a bit of an understatement as the base Galaxy does boast a slightly bigger screen at 6.2-inches (up from the 6.1-inch display in the Galaxy S23). This time, it’s also an LTPO display, giving variable refresh rates that should help with efficiency.

Additionally, the Galaxy S24 also gets a bigger 4,000mAh battery, helping your phone last longer. In terms of performance, you get 8GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage as well as the new Exynos 2400 with an AMD GPU providing power to the phone.

Of course, you might want to have a bigger screen to play games and watch movies in. In which case, you can always go bigger. And this time, the size isn’t the only upgrade you’re getting.

Samsung Galaxy S24+

As the middle child in the lineup, the previous Galaxy+ phones are usually perceived as just bigger versions of their base phones. That’s no longer the case with the Galaxy S24+. In addition to its bigger 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display, the smartphone’s resolution has been bumped to 1440p, pushing it much closer to the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s specs.

It also gets a bigger 4,900mAh battery as well as the Exynos 2400 from the base S24. (Though other regions like the US and China do get Snapdragon variants) Nonetheless, it is capable of the same AI tricks and features showcased in their flagship event regardless of chipset.

As far as colors go, both the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ get the same options: Cobalt Violet, Amber Violet, Onyx Black, and Marble Gray.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

And then there’s the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which received the most changes from its predecessor. Right away, we can see the phone trading away its curved edges, glossy finish, and old armor aluminum frame for a flatter display, matte finish, and a new frame made of titanium, similar to the iPhone 15 Pro models.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra also ships with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in all regions, which should come as a good news for those who prefer Qualcomm’s best mobile processors. There’s a bigger vapor chamber too, which should help with managing heat under sustained load.

Samsung also made some changes to the Ultra’s cameras. Gone is the 10MP 10x telephoto lens from the Galaxy S23 Ultra. In its place is a new 5x telephoto…but with 50MP letting you capture more detail in your shots. And of course, you do get the same lenses for everything else, including the 200MP main camera.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra comes in a number of subdued titanium hues like Titanium Gray, Titanium Black, Titanium Yellow, and Titanium Violet. Samsung is also offering Titanium Blue, Titanium Green, and Titanium Orange as an exclusive option.
