Hitman: World of Assassination launches on iPad and iOS!
Another assassin has made their way to Apple’s portable devices.
IO Interactive brings Hitman: World of Assassination to iOS and iPad devices, giving players the ability to travel beautiful locales and engage in some stealth gameplay to take out a target on the go, following successful ports of Resident Evil 4 and Assassin’s Creed Mirage on Apple’s latest phones and tablets.
Of course, not all of Apple’s tech can run it natively just yet. They’ve actually put out a list of compatible gadgets that we’ve detailed below:
Device Compatibility:
Hitman: World of Assassination is compatible with all iPhone 16 models plus the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. If you want to play on a tablet, you’ll need an iPad Pro or iPad Air with the M1 chip though it’s also compatible with the iPad mini 7 with its A17 Pro chip.
IO Interactive is also working on a version for Mac devices running Apple’s own silicon via MetalFX. The current version available for iPad and iPhone are also built with compatible third-party controllers for players who prefer the feel of physical buttons.
Those who have played on other platforms like PC might be disappointed that there’s no cross-platform progression though. You have to play it all again from the beginning despite being “always online”, which has been a main sticking point for players.

Mission Availability:
Of course, everyone already familiar with the game on PC will also be familiar with its, well, “complex pricing structure”. Different versions essentially gives you access to varying stuff with “Part One” just granting access to Hitman 1 and the Patient Zero campaign and the Standard Edition being the one to actually include Hitman 2 and 3 maps and content.
Well, IO Interactive seems to simplify things a little bit for their big Apple release. You get the ICA Facility training mission for free, acting as a demo of sorts for those interested in checking out how it plays. From there, you can buy the full game at $69.99 or purchase each of the game’s 24 locations individually for $2.99 should you not care for the full package.
Players can even start their mission in style as launching the game on either iPhone or iPad will unlock a Black Turtle Streak Suit to customize 47 with. But, what about you? Are you interested in taking these gaming experiences with you on the go? Or would you rather play it on a dedicated gaming console at home? Regardless of your choice, we’ve got the right tech for you here at Kimstore!
