Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 Revealed!
Xiaomi’s newest foldable, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 has finally been revealed. As a sequel to the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, the Mix Fold 3 comes in an even slimmer form factor while bringing in a number of noteworthy upgrades to performance.
Slim and Durable
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is coming in even slimmer than Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, measuring only 5.26mm when unfolded and 10.89mm once folded up. Of course, this depends on your choice of composite fiber or glass back, with the latter coming in at a slightly thicker 10.96mm when folded in.
However, the biggest hardware update would be their use of a proprietary hinge which the brand says should improve the phone’s durability while keeping its slim form factor. The company promises the phone should last up to 500,000 folds.
This should bring free-stop abilities to this new Mix Fold phone as you should be able to fold the phone between 45 and 135, giving it some flexibility for video, photography, and some games. No specific IP rating just yet though so you’ll still want to be careful around water.
As for the screen, you’re getting a 6.56 inch FHD+ OLED display in the front, and a folding 8.03 inch LTPO OLED inside. Both of which come with 120Hz refresh rates, making for a smooth scrolling experience.

An Impressive Camera Array
While foldable phones like Galaxy Z Fold5 aren’t exactly focusing on the camera experience with their phones, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is looking to change that.
The Mix Fold 3 is bringing a quad-camera array, with a 50MP IMX800 main shooter with OIS, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a pair of 10 MP telephoto cameras, allowing you to take detailed photos even from afar!
As far as selfie cameras go, you get a 20 MP selfie camera on both screens for convenience.
Processor and Battery
Inside, the phone will be powered by an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor which should grant it top flagship performance across a wide variety of tasks and games.
You also get a 4,800mAh battery with 67W wired charging. The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will also include 50W wireless charging, giving you plenty of options to juice up your phone real fast.
